5.1 WooCommerce Multiple Currencies

Product DescriptionOverview

Your store will display product prices based on the selected currency! The WooCommerce multi-currency feature is very simple: install, select the currency and update the exchange rate frequency!

It doesn’t require you to configure any paid third-party services to update the exchange rate, nor does it require any additional skills to set up! It relies on its own update rate system (provided by CurrencyConverterApi) and doesn’t require any additional configuration.

How to update the plugin automatically?
To receive automatic updates, simply install and configure the Envato update plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 . The official guide explains how to configure it and can be found at the following link: https://envato.com/market-plugin .
How it works
Once activated, you only need a few steps to get it working.
Via WooCommerce’s Multi-Currency -> Settings menu select the available currencies and where the currency switcher must be displayed.
Multicurrency via WooCommerce -> Exchange Rate menu option to choose the frequency of updates (every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, daily, …) .
That’s it! The plugin will automatically update the exchange rate without any further configuration or third-party services.

Currency switch display options
The plugin allows the currency switcher to be displayed automatically in the footer of any page, or in any menu (as the first or last element) or via a widget! The widget can be added to any widget area via the Appearance->Widget menu. The widget can be added to any widget area via the Appearance->Widget menu.
GEOLOCATION: The default currency for each location.
For each currency, the store administrator can choose to associate the default country. This way, any customer from that country will automatically select that currency the first time the plugin visits. The country detection is done using WooCommerce’s geolocation feature.
Currency Location
For each currency, you can easily specify its own position (before or after the price)!
Payment methods for each currency
Do you want to offer payment gateways in certain currencies only? You can! Simply select the currency you need in the Exchan exchange rate menu. Simply select your preferred currency from the Exchan exchange rate menu.
Shortcodes
With the special [wcmc_currency_selector] you can selectively display the currency switcher anywhere!
PHP Functions

Instructions for use
Some payment gateways may not accept certain currencies. In this case, they will not be available in the checkout page. For example, PayPal is supported by https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/reference/currency-codes/. Some currencies may have restrictions, such as Indian Rupees can only be used by Indian PayPal accounts.

Some payment gateway plugins, such as the “WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway”, may not properly trigger the appropriate action when retrieving product price data. This prevents the plugin from correctly calculating the correct product price data based on the selected currency.

In the admin area, the base currency will be used as the default currency. On the My Account -> Orders and Order Details pages, the currency switch will not take effect. Order details will be reported based on the currency they are placed in.

Some payment gateways may round up the final price to prevent the number of decimal points from being too high.

If you use third-party plugins to manipulate product prices or add custom shipping methods, make sure they trigger the default WooCommerce actions and filters when manipulating prices. Otherwise, the WooCommerce multi-currency plugin will not be able to hook into these processes and set prices based on the selected currency.
