If you have a WooCommerce store, WooCommerce Multi Currency is a plugin you must have.WooCommerce Multi Currency allows your customers to switch between different currencies and helps your store accept multi-currency payments. The exchange rate can be set manually or automatically. The plugin automatically gets your customer’s geographic location and displays prices in their local currency.

Currency selection
The plug-in is flexible and versatile, displaying currency options on the front end and updating exchange rate options.

Automatically update the exchange rate. The plug-in automatically updates the exchange rate. You can set the time for automatic update: every 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month.
Successfully update the exchange rate email. The plugin sends a notification email every time the exchange rate is updated.
Manually set the exchange rate. The plugin also allows you to set the exchange rate manually.
Exchange fees. Every time you exchange money from one currency to another, the bank or money transfer operator may charge a currency conversion fee. The difference between the exchange rate they decide to apply and the actual exchange rate traded in the market is the currency conversion fee.WooCommerce Multicurrency allows you to add a permanent exchange fee to the exchange rate.
Price formatting. Configure how prices are displayed on the front end. For example: $100 USD; $100,00 USD; $100.00 USD …….
Custom currency symbols. You can customize the currency symbols. For example, USD can be displayed as USD, US$, $…. : USD can be displayed as USD, $US$, $…….
Fixed prices.WooCommerce Multi-Currency allows you to set custom prices in different currencies for each product. The fixed price will override the price based on the exchange rate.
Hide Currencies. This plugin allows you to hide the currencies you don’t want it to show on the front end.
Choose Currency Rate Server: you can choose to update the exchange rates for VillaTheme.com, Google Finance, and Yahoo Finance. More exchange rate servers will be added in the future.
Use of sessions: the plugin will use sessions rather than cookies to save the selected currency.
Currency price toggle. A toggle will appear under the product price. Allows customers to switch prices between currencies.

Automatic currency detection
WooCommerce Multicurrency can automatically detect the customer’s native base currency based on the customer’s country or language.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the auto-detect country feature may not work properly on websites/servers with caching. Please try the free version to check if it works properly on your website.

Currency detection based on the client’s country. The plugin will detect the customer’s country based on their IP address and then select their currency to display the price.
Currency by country. You can choose which currency to display to customers in which country.
Approximate Price. With this feature, the price will be displayed in the default currency. But underneath, there will be approximate prices that will be displayed in the customer’s home currency. Helps customers to know how expensive/cheap the product is.
Automatic currency selection based on Polylang language. The plugin will choose a currency to display the price based on your website language. For example, if you have two languages on your website: English and Spanish, you can choose to display the price in GBP on an English website and in EUR on a Spanish website.
The currency is automatically selected based on the WPML language. Similar to Polylang, but the price will be selected based on the language of WPML.

Checkout Currency: similar to Polylang, but the price will be selected based on WPML language.
WooCommerce Multicurrency allows you to choose the checkout currency. You can choose one or more checkout currencies.

IMPORTANT: Please note that in order to display the payment gateway on the checkout page, the payment gateway must support your default currency. For example, if you have South African Rand, you can select South African Rand. If your default currency is South African Rand ZAR, you will not be able to enable PayPal on the checkout page because PayPal does not support ZAR, even if you change ZAR to USD on the front end using multi-currency.

Multi-currency payments are allowed. Customers can purchase in the currency of their choice. In order to use this feature, you’ll need to enable a payment gateway on your site that supports the customer’s choice of currency.
Select checkout currency. The plugin allows you to select the checkout currency. For example, you can display prices in 4 different currencies on your store, but only accept payments in 2 currencies.
Display payment method based on currency. You can choose which payment gateway will appear on the checkout page based on the currency.
Checkout currency on the shopping cart page. Change the currency on the shopping cart page to the checkout currency.
